


Mount Tabor
Mount Tabor has been mentioned several time in the old testament. It is a tribal border and the place where Deborah and Barak fought the war against Sisra. It is of course known as the moutain that Jesus made the miracle of transfiguration On site there is a beautiful panoramic view. This is the place to read from Mark 9 : " And after six days Jesus took with him Peter and James and John, and led them up a high mountain apart by themselves; and he was transfigured before them, 3 and his garments became glistening, intensely white, as no fuller on earth could bleach them. 4 And there appeared to them Elijah with Moses"
Church of Annumciation
The Modern basilica built on top of a first century jewish house is one of the world's most holy Christian Liturgical sites. This is the traditional site of the annunciation by the Angel Gabriel of the birth of Jesus. The grotto is believed to have been the home of Mary, and we can see remains from Byzantine and Crusaders churches.
Drive to the lower Galilee to Nazareth, the town where Jesus spent his childhood. We'll start our visit at the Franciscan Church of Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph. Just a short drive from there we'll continue to the village of Kana, see the church of the Wedding. Then we'll drive to Mount Tabbor.

Church of the miracle of the wine
The Arab village of Kafr Kana in the Lower Galilee is identified as Cana of the Galilee. The site that Jesus performed the miracle of the wine. Jesus wa invited to a wedding of a poor couple and turned water into wine.
